Description
Herbaceous, deciduous perennial plant. They grow upright but partly also prostrate. The leaves are ovate, obtuse and upwards pointed. The edge may be smooth or serrated and jagged. The white flowers sit in the leaf axils.
After flowering, a berry develops inside which is enclosed by the sepals, forming the typical fruit shape. The berry turns from green to yellow and then to orange.
