Description
With its dark red leaves, this basil is not only an indispensable seasoning herb but also particularly decorative.
Our tips:
- Optimal germination temperature: 20°C
- Light germinator - do not cover seeds with soil, but only press down lightly
- Pre-culture from March, direct sowing from May
- Direct sowing: sow evenly, later thin out to a distance of 25 cm in the row
- Harvest the whole herb without the root at the latest before the start of flowering and use fresh or dried
- Do not cook with the food, but add at the end of the cooking time
