Bingenheimer Saatgut Celery Root "Mars"

This vigorous, smooth-skinned, and round variety of celeriac produces upright, dark green foliage and roots with crisp white flesh that stores exceptionally well. It also boasts natural resistance to Septoria (leaf spot).

Our Tips:

• Light Germinator: Do not cover the seeds with soil; simply press them gently into the surface to ensure they receive the light needed to sprout.
• Germination Temperature: Ideally around 20°C.
• Post-Germination: Move to a cooler spot once sprouted, but ensure temperatures do not drop below 15°C to prevent "bolting" later on.
• Pricking Out: Transplant seedlings into individual pots (pricking out) to encourage stronger, more robust young plants.
• Versatile Harvest: Can be harvested early as "bunched celeriac" with greens attached, or left to mature for winter storage.
