Bingenheimer Saatgut Lamb's Lettuce "Verte de Cambrai"

This 'Dark Green Full-Hearted' type of lamb's lettuce is slow to bolt, allowing for an extended harvest period. It is fast-growing, exceptionally hardy, and produces leaves with a rich, full-bodied flavour.

Our Tips:

• Sowing & Planting: For greenhouse cultivation, start seeds from September for planting in October. For outdoor cultivation, sow directly from late July.
• Sowing rate: approx. 150 g per 100 m² / 80 to 100 seeds per linear metre.
• Germination temperature: 10 to 15°C.
• To prevent poor emergence during a hot and dry August, we recommend shading the area with horticultural fleece and thoroughly watering the soil before sowing.
• Low nitrogen requirements: Avoid planting near legumes (peas or beans).
