Description
This perennial culinary and medicinal plant is suitable for autumn planting through to September. It can be used in a variety of ways in the kitchen and provides a wonderful lemon aroma without the acidity.
Our Tips:
- Direct sowing is not recommended
- Start seeds indoors: from mid-March, planting from May
- Light germinator - do not cover seeds with soil during sowing; simply press them down gently
- Caution: Young plants are sensitive to frost
- Self-seeding
- Requires nutrient-rich, warm soil that does not get too dry
