Description
This climbing, late-ripening butternut squash produces beige, pear-shaped fruits with orange flesh. The "neck" of the fruit is entirely seed-free and has a pleasant, nutty flavour.
Our Tips:
- Germination temperature: above 22°C (for rapid emergence within seven days)
- Direct sowing and outdoor planting from mid-May
- Do not "prick out" (repot) young seedlings
- Seedlings should not be overgrown when planted (two to three true leaves are optimal)
- After planting out, cover with fleece on cool nights below 10°C
- Peel is not suitable for consumption
- Excellent storage life
- Fruit weight: 1.5 to 2 kg
