Sowing Tips: While direct sowing in the ground is possible, it is not recommended. For best results, start the seeds indoors. Sow the seeds in trays or small pots from February-April, covering them only lightly with soil. Dahlias germinate sporadically, so sowing requires a little patience. The young plants can be transplanted outdoors from May-June onwards.
