Description
Borage is a valuable plant for beneficial insects with leaves that taste like cucumber. The young leaves can be used to add flavour to a variety of dishes. It bears blue flowers that are edible and a decorative garnish on plates and glasses.
Tips:
- Thin out seedlings soon after germination
- Stagger sowing for a long harvest period
- Can be preserved by freezing in bathces or pickling in vinegar
