Description
Red clover is a proven green manure plant and makes a significant contribution to improving the garden soil. Thanks to its ability to store additional nutrients, it can improve soil quality and increase the yield of subsequent crops. Its deep-reaching taproots effectively loosen the soil, while the nodule bacteria on the roots accumulate valuable nitrogen in the soil. Red clover is particularly suitable for growing brassicas and leek.
