Description
Minimalist design, sustainable materials and anatomically appropriate construction. This bird feed dispenser has been designed to ensure that birds can eat in their natural position.
The target group of birds
Vertical clinging blue tits, titmouse, nuthatch, finches and woodpeckers.
The perfect menu
Shelled sunflower seeds and untreated peanuts. Millet should not be used, as the bird breeds mentioned above ignore it. The silo can be easily filled from above.
Easy to clean
Simply clean with soap and water in between. Better to refill feed less, but more often.
Sustainable
The silo and the rope are made of 100% recycled plastic, the fittings are made of robust stainless steel. The cardboard packaging does not require any glue. All parts can be recycled again.
The story behind it
The designers Mika & Julie Tolvanen studied the feeding behaviour of birds over several years using prototypes they developed themselves. While they were enjoying their breakfast, they were able to look out the window and make important observations when birds came to eat.

The olive green one was given to me as a gift. It has been in the garden for over a year (please note I have cleaned it as per instructions in that time) however, the 'roof' part has very badly faded in the sun and therefore it does not look good. For the price of this item this really should not happen. Disappointed customer.
