Description
The olive tree immediately brings to tmind thelandsacpes of southern Europe. It can live for several hundred years, developing a beautiful trunk as it ages. As a container plant, it prefers a sunny spot on the terrace during the summer. It can also be kept purely as an indoor plant. During the winter, it prefers a frost-free environment.
Tips for cultivation:
- Lightly roughen the seeds with sandpaper
- Then let them pre-soak in water for 24 hours
- Place the seeds approx. 1/2 cm deep into moist potting soil
- Cover with cling film and poke holes in it
- Remove the film every two to three days for 2 hours
- Keep the substrate moist but not wet
