Description
In the wild, purple loosestrife is often found on riverbanks, ponds and in marshes. This herbaceous plant from the loosestrife family prefers moist and sunny locations. Its vibrant purple to pink flowers, which grow in long, loose spikes, are a delight to see. Furthermore, they are rich in nectar, making them particularly attractive to bees and butterflies.
