Description
The Red Japanese Maple is a small ornamental tree that is impossible to miss thanks to its bright red leaves. In its younger years, it is still sensitive to frost, but this changes over time. After a few years it does not require additional protection in winter. It is also suitable for container cultivation.
Tips for cultivation:
- First, place the seeds in the refrigerator for one week
- Then let them pre-soak in water for 12 to 24 hours
- Place the seeds approx. 1 cm deep in moist potting soil
- Cover with cling film and poke holes in it
- Remove the film every two to three days for 2 hours
- Keep the substrate moist but not wet
