Description
This high-yielding variety produces numerous long, yellow carrots with slightly ringed skin, which are ideal raw as a snack, in salads, as well as cooked as a side dish and in soups.
Our tips:
- Optimal germination temperature: 22°C
- Cover seeds with soil to a depth equal to the seed thickness
- Thin out to a distance of 5 to 6 cm two weeks after germination
- Row spacing: 25 to 30 cm
- Requires deep, loose soil
- Ensure a consistent water supply
- Heavy watering after dry periods leads to cracking
- Companion planting with radishes, lettuce, kohlrabi, dill, and onion sets
- Good storage life
