Description
This plant is ideal for growing in pots. It produces many delicious peanuts and forms decorative yellow flowers.
Our tips:
- Germination temperature: 20°C
- Cultivate individually in pots or sow directly into the ground
- Year-round sowing possible indoors
- Always keep the soil moist, but avoid waterlogging
- Requires a slightly sandy, deep, humus-rich soil
- Medium fertiliser requirement
- The flowers are only open for a short time and are self-fertilising
- Dry the harvested nuts in the oven for approx. 20 minutes at 150°C before eating
