Description
The curled red and green leaves of this leaf mustard can be harvested individually. They have a spicy, mustard-like flavour which makes them a delicious addition to colourful mixed salads. They are also delicious when cooked and steamed in a wok.
Tips:
- This out seedlings soon after germination
- Use surplus plants as baby leaf salad
- Spring and early summer sowings flower quickly
- Staggered sowing for a long harvest period
- Late sown plants can be harvested for longer and are more bolt-resistant
- The flowers are also edible
