The Carolina Reaper is recognised as the spiciest chilli in the world. And as such, it should be handled and consumed with extreme caution. A chilli that is the reserve of the truly hardened chilli lover! But even if you're not a fan of extreme heat, cultivating this plant is a genuine delight and challenge for avid gardeners. Whether in raised beds or pots, the Carolina Reaper is a stunning addition to any garden, producing fiery red, uniquely wrinkled fruits that are a real conversation starter. Note: These chillies are not intended for fresh consumption - they are best enjoyed dried or processed into spice pastes.

- Challenging to grow
- Start seeds indoors at 22 to 25°C - ideally sow 10 weeks before the danger of the last frost.
- Soak seeds in chamomile tea one day before sowing to increase the germination rate and resistance to fungal diseases.
- Prefers deep, loose, nutrient-rich soils
- Fruit size: 4 - 6 cm
- Caution: Wear gloves when handling the fruit and avoid contact with mucous membranes and eyes.
