Description
Sperli's Staro is a chive variety that bears robust, aromatic tubular leaves that lend a fresh and mild, onion-like flavour to any dish. It can be grown in a raised bed, pot, or directly in the ground, as it is very hardy, easy to care for, and ideal for a long harvest season. You can sow it directly outdoors from April to June and enjoy a bountiful harvest of fresh chives from July onwards.
